Welcome

Welcome to St John’s School

St John’s School is a single stream Catholic school providing quality education for children from Kindergarten to Year Six. The school was established in 1969 by the Presentation Sisters and has maintained the character of a small community school. St John’s School is known for its strong sense of community and tradition.

At St John’s School, we aim to provide a caring, supportive environment in which students can grow in God’s likeness. The school strives to develop each child spiritually, academically, physically, socially and emotionally to their full potential. We aim to support the development of the students’ self-esteem and respect for others so that they can become positive contributors to the school and wider communities.

As learners at St John’s School, our students are encouraged to think critically, create, be independent, collaborate, be engaged, display resilience and be persistent. Our School Motto is ‘Let the little children’ and I personally work to ensure the students of St John’s School feel safe and happy to learn within the school environment. ‘Every Story Every Opportunity’ provides the founding purpose of our core business at St John’s School. It is vital we know the story of every student so we can successfully provide every opportunity to inspire, provide for, support and accept every individual.

I encourage you to have a look at all aspects of our school website, welcoming any feedback or suggestions. I look forward to working with all members of the school community as we strive to provide the students of St John’s School with every opportunity to reach their full potential.
